Redmi Note 10 hands-on leaked footage reveals AMOLED screen, rear design, price in India

Earlier this month, Xiaomi revealed the Redmi Note 10 launch date in India. As the anticipated release date gets closer, we now see the first hands-on footage for the Redmi Note 10.

The footage was leaked and promptly taken down, revealing the design of the front and rear side of the phone. Not only the design, the images taken from the footage also confirms the display and camera specification for Redmi Note 10. Although most of the details surrounding Redmi Note 10 is already known courtesy of Xiaomi releasing teasers containing tidbit of information, as well as details that were leaked online, the display and camera specs were a mystery up until now.

We already came to know the phone will be powered by a Snapdragon 700 series chipset. And that the base variant will feature a punch hole style camera notch with a quad camera. But the display type was previously unknown. The new leaked information finally gave us the display specification. The upcoming phone will feature an AMOLED display with full HD+ resolution support. This will be the first Note series phone to have AMOLED display. The device will sport a rear 48 megapixel quad camera setup. Photos of the rear of the phone confirms a rectangular camera module that will house the 48 MP quad camera.

In terms of display, the exact size of it or the refresh rate cannot be found in the leaked images, which suggests it will probably be a 60 Hz standard display. It was speculated that a high refresh rate panel will be used in the vanilla model, but now it seems that this feature might be exclusive to the Redmi Note 10 Pro version.

Reports have reached us that this model will be arriving in three colors, white, grey and green. The retail box photo showcases the green colored variant, while the images from the removed video displays the grey colored variant with a curved back.

The top part of the phone contains an IR Blaster and a loudspeaker. The bottom edge features a USB-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and another loudspeaker. The device has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone comes with Android 11 based MIUI 12, and internal storage of 128 GB. In terms of Redmi Note 10 price in India, and Indian retail store that already has their hands on the device suggests the price could be around Rs 17,000 or approximately $235.
